Modern Finance is an educational game in the form of a workshop for young people, developed for the National Bank of Poland.
The project builds on the earlier „Na Bank ciekawe!”workshop series. Its aim is to consolidate and expand young people’s knowledge of electronic money, financial instruments, electronic payment methods, and the principles and challenges associated with them.
The workshop is based on an original, tried-and-tested lesson plan and an interactive board game that has been developed over several years, using mechanics familiar from classic economic games. My task was to redesign all the materials used during the game, drawing on the educators’ experience and taking into account both the elements that had worked well and those that needed improvement.
The result is a new set of materials, designed from scratch and made almost entirely in my own workshop. The set is complemented by purpose-made cases that keep the individual components organised and make the complete workshop easy to store and transport.
