In 2011, the National Museum in Warsaw invited me to develop a series of workshops accompanying the exhibition of Polish design from the 1950s and 1960s, “We Want to Be Modern” (Chcemy być nowocześni)..
Together with Małgorzata Mozolewska, we developed a concept for four sessions with the exhibition visitors. We wanted not only to talk about the design presented in the exhibition, but also to actively transform the Museum space and create something new within it.
We invited the following designers to collaborate with us and lead individual workshops:
- Kuba Sobiepanek and Robert Pludra,
- Marcin Ebert and Maciek Sobczak,
- Kasia and Tomek Pydo.
Our role was to develop the creative concept for the entire series, select and invite the workshop leaders, and prepare and run one of the workshops ourselves.
We were also responsible for the project's communication, including the description of the series and the poster design.
